All Dressed Up in Feedsacks and No Place to Go!!!
What a poor pitiful looking dog I am!!!! Shenanny did it again. She likes to dress me up like she did to those cats when she was a little kid. I think she's enjoying her 2nd childhood. We do have a lot of fun, and I love the feedsacks. She had tons of them all over the sofa and chairs last night, and I couldn't find a place to sit down. She was getting ready for a lady to come look at and maybe buy some of the sacks today.
The lady came and went. Bought a few, but she just wanted them to re-sell on eBay. She didn't know anything about having a "reverence for Feedsacks", and said they were not nostalgic to her. Shenanny has lots of reverence and she's teaching me to have that, too. I love doing fun stuff with her, and don't get very bored. We will hold onto most of the sacks for now, and who knows when a person with reverence comes to our place we just might give them one!!!
Billy Bob has some reverence, too, but mostly for other things like the church. Tonight he's gone to a meeting to help decide how to take care of the church building. I think he said something about using a power washer on it. I'm not sure what that is, but I hope he doesn't use it on me. I like the simple bath that Shenanny gives me.
I wish I could go to church. Our preacher doesn't like dogs being there, though. I'm not sure if he has reverence or not!!! Shenanny said that he yelled and pounded on the pulpit and scared most of the folks last Sunday. I guess I am better off staying home and enjoying the peace and quiet. I'm learning that reverence should be a simple thing, and love goes right along with it.
God Bless You All and have a Goodnite.
Love, Ellie Rose who is a little bag lady now :o)
